Tuart Rise Primary School (PS) are looking for an enthusiastic experienced Teacher – Primary – Physical Education (PE) to join their friendly team.
The successful applicant for this position will be a passionate teacher of PE with a strong understanding of the school’s values and vision and a demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching and learning. They will work closely with other members of the PE team to deliver an engaging and relevant primary school PE curriculum. The successful applicant will demonstrate a deep knowledge of the curriculum and effective teaching practice.
To be successful in the role you will need to possess outstanding interpersonal skills and have an ability to build effective working relationships with students, staff, parents and the school community. You will be involved in planning with other specialist across schools and also be responsible for the co-ordination of carnivals both at a school and interschool level.
Tuart Rise PS is an Independent Public School located in Baldivis. It is a modern, state of the art facility which opened in 2015 for students in Kindergarten to Year 6. This selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy. Applicants assessed as suitable during this selection process may be considered for other similar vacancies that occur throughout our school for up to 12 months following this initial appointment. This includes circumstances where this position becomes subsequently vacant should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised position.
To be suitable for this role, you will need to demonstrate your competency against the following domains (that govern the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers):
- Professional knowledge;
- Professional practice; and
- Professional engagement.

ELIGIBILITY
Employees will be required to:
- provide evidence of eligibility to work in Australia for the term of the vacancy

TRAINING
Employees will be required to:
- complete the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement; and
- complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy.
The Department applies a four (4) day breach period to this selection process.
