About the role
An exciting permanent opportunity exists to join the Hakea Prison Health Service for an experienced Registered Nurse, which offers a safe and secure working environment where staff can make a significant contribution to improving the health outcome for patients.
Reporting to the Clinical Nurse Manager, Hakea Prison is seeking applications for an experienced Registered Nurse to deliver direct nursing assessments and evidence based nursing care for patients in custody, using advanced nursing skills and knowledge relevant to the practice settings as well as providing support to medical and other health care providers. This exciting position allows for a high degree of autonomy in the work place.

About you
- Current AHPRA Registration
- Clinical Skills according to level of experience
- Effective Communication and interpersonal Skills
- Knowledge and application of continuous Quality Improvement
- Ability to work as a team member and leader

Pool Recruitment
The Department of Justice use recruitment pools to build a bank of talent for future opportunities. When part of a pool you may be offered a permanent or temporary position, however an appointment is not guaranteed.
This pool will be open for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of first appointment. Permanent and fixed-term full-time appointments may be offered as vacancies arise.
