An exciting opportunity has arisen within the health centre at Banksia Hill Detention Centre for an experienced Clinical Nurse Manager to join the team on a permanent full time basis. Working Monday to Friday, this position is based in Canning Vale and is responsible for leading the small team that provides healthcare services to young people in detention.
Role
Working in a primary care setting, the Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) is a key role in providing strong leadership, guidance and support to the nursing team who provide general and mental health/alcohol and other drugs (AOD) services.
Working in this unique context of care, the role is responsible for overseeing the day to day operational requirements of the health centre; ensuring safe delivery of high standards of patents care; effective budget/ financial management and human resource management skills.

A solid clinical background is required for this role and if you have excellent nursing, communication and management skills then this is the job for you.
