WHAT’S THE ROLE?
The Family Resource Employee, in accordance with the principles of engagement, inclusiveness, collaboration and capacity building is responsible for providing supervision and transport services for families, children and young people in care. You will provide information and support to families about how to access Department and community resources available to them.
To be the successful applicant you should have knowledge and understanding of community resources, and skills to engage with families in a respectful and honest manner.
WHAT’S ON OFFER?
This is a Pool for temporary part time and casual opportunities.
If you are suitable for this position you will be placed in a Pool from which appointments will be made for similar vacancies that arise within the next 12 months. If the appointment Pool is exhausted prior to the Pool expiry date, the Department reserves the right to supplement the Pool through further advertising.

CONDITIONS
To be considered for this position you must have:
- substantiated evidence of your eligibility to live and work in Australia
- see the essential eligibility requirements of the JDF for additional pre-employment requirements.
A criminal record check and departmental check will be conducted prior to commencement.
Casual employees work on an irregular basis with no set hours and no expectation of ongoing work. A casual loading of 20% is applied to the standard hourly rate in lieu of leave entitlements.
