This is an incredibly exciting time for hands-on, high performing, senior executives to join the recently restructured Department of Justice and lead critical functional areas into the future. In a dynamic environment, with keen political, media and community oversight, you will play a vital role in contemporising standards, processes and service delivery, to deliver change.
Work collaboratively across the justice system, government, peak bodies and with other key stakeholders to shape outcomes for the fourth largest government department in WA.
Role
In this most complex and challenging role, you will lead and drive change across the organisation and produce the most significant impact across the system. Your expertise and leadership to senior management across re-integration, offender management, community corrections and health services, will be vital to delivering a reduction in re-offending.
You will future-proof Corrective Services WA and create efficiencies through network and system design, and by leading strategically and operationally, business-as-usual community corrections, a large expansion program, and the design of end-to-end offender management and through care service provision.
This major planning and implementation role will see you deliver in the long term, a reduction on the demands to the WA Corrections System, and positively impact the community at large. Hit the ground running and deliver transformative outcomes with enterprise reform.
Your Skills and Experience
Strong track record in developing and managing innovative strategies, programs and services for offenders that are compliant with legislation, policy and procedures, and achieve reduce rates in recidivism. Experience with network and system design to deliver operational efficiencies, and demonstrated expertise leading a complex change agenda.
Job related requirements
C Class Drivers Licence and possible Intrastate/Interstate Travel.
