About the role
This role provides technical and maintenance support at the Australian Centre for Energy and Process Training (ACEPT), supporting the delivery areas of Oil & Gas, Applied Engineering and Industrial Electrical/Instrumentation.
This role prepares materials and equipment for class sessions, laboratory/workshop exercises and live works. The position ensures materials and training apparatus are developed, fabricated and maintained, adequately stocked and available. Ensuring equipment is maintained in a safe working order. The role also requires monitoring and reporting on authorised expenditure.
To be successful in this role you will ideally have experience in a maintenance or engineering setting; it is desirable to have experience on fixed plant maintenance, engineering or electrical installation. It is desirable for Candidates to hold qualifications or have a functional background in either Engineering, Electrical or Mechanical trade areas.
Candidates must present with strong consultancy and communication skills, and the ability to manage equipment purchasing.
