We are seeking a Senior Planning Officer to join the Department of Planning, Lands and Heritage in our Data Analytics team within the Strategy and Engagement division. In this role you would be responsible for contributing to the development and implementation of strategic infrastructure coordination and planning and undertaking research, analysis and reporting for the Urban Development Program and other related Programs.
This is a permanent, full-time position; however, consideration may be given to applicants seeking part-time opportunities. Suitable applicants may be considered for appointment to similar (permanent, fixed term, full-time or part-time) vacancies for a period of twelve (12) months from the initial date of the appointment.

To be successful in this role, you need to demonstrate;
- A relevant degree in either Urban and Regional Planning and or transport planning or environmental sciences;
- Experience undertaking research, analysis and reporting relating to land supply and infrastructure coordination;
- Proactively develops and maintains productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to foster trust and build strong partnerships; and
- Considerable data analytical experience, either in spatial and non-spatial.
