This is a Fixed Term Full Time appointment for 6 months with the possibility of extension.

Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout the health service. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised vacancy, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process. Both of these options remain valid for a period of six (6) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.
Position Profile: We are seeking an enthusiastic person for the role of Senior Analyst. The successful applicant will be responsible for:
- Developing and maintaining appropriate financial models and reporting tools to facilitate effective monitoring of all WA Health funding sources.
- Taking an active role in coordinating and delivering analysis of financial, budgetary and expenditure information and business projections in accordance with organisational requirements.
- Developing and maintaining effective working relationships with stakeholders to support the outcomes of specific work assignments.
- In collaboration with business areas, undertaking activities that facilitate process improvement, contributing to system wide financial management and processes that enable the achievement of Whole of Health business related outcomes.
- Facilitating the implementation and enhancement of policies and strategies related to the performance monitoring of business areas in accordance with government requirements.
- Contributing to the planning, delivery and ongoing improvement of Health Finance products and functions.
