Do you have experience in leading team and providing professional and technical advice?
The position
In this role you will lead a small team and act as project manager for policy projects, research and analyse issues in the development of appropriate responses. You will also undertake or oversee the preparation of high level advice and correspondence relating to building policy matters.
Drawing on your knowledge and understanding of the development and implementation of legislative and policy responses you will liaise with internal and external customers to ensure appropriate service delivery, improvement needs and expectations are met.
You will possess ability to set work tasks that align with the strategic objectives and communicates expected outcomes and participates in operational and/or project planning to implement the Branch objectives.
This position is located in Cannington.
What do you require to successfully undertake the role?
- Demonstrated experience in the development and implementation of legislative and policy responses.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of contemporary issues affecting the Western Australian building industry.
- Demonstrated high degree of competency in managing policy projects, managing competing priorities and driving reforms.
- Demonstrated highly developed research, analytical, problem solving and report writing skills.
