LOCATION:
The Shire of Broome is located in the south-west Kimberley in the far north of Western Australia and covers approximately 56,000 square kilometres, boasting a coastline of 900 kilometres which includes the world famous Cable Beach.
Broome is a unique town, with pristine waters, wide empty beaches, abundant wildlife, tropical climate and breathtaking colours. Broome’s exotic pearling town past has left a rich history and a unique multi-cultural mix of people.
WHAT’S THE ROLE?
The Family Resource Employee is responsible for providing supervision and transport services for families, children and young people, providing information and support to families, children and young people about accessing Department and community resources and providing administrative assistance as required in accordance with principles of engagement, inclusiveness, collaboration and capacity building.
WHAT’S ON OFFER?
This is a Pool for permanent and temporary full time and part time (52.5 hours per fortnight) opportunities. Temporary opportunities have the possibility of extension and/or permanency.
If you are suitable for this position you will be placed in a Pool from which appointments will be made for similar vacancies that arise within the next 12 months. If the appointment Pool is exhausted prior to the Pool expiry date, the Department reserves the right to supplement the Pool through further advertising.
