We’re looking for
An ambitious Human Resource professional to join our Employee Relations team.
In this role you will case manage discipline and performance matters in partnership with the Manager, Employee Relations, and work collaboratively with the business as part of an agile People and Organisational Development team to deliver a great service to our customers.
You will also provide advice and consultancy on the interpretation of awards, agreements and industrial legislation to employees, managers and colleagues.
As our ideal candidate, you will have experience in a Human Resources environment with a keen interest in formal case management, a positive can-do attitude and forward-thinking approach. Your high level interpersonal skills, strong verbal and written communication and ability to collaborate effectively with a broad range of stakeholders will ensure your success in this role.
We need someone who can
- Provide advice on relevant employment awards, agreements and legislation interpretation.
- Provide consultancy, advice and coaching to managers on employee relations matters.
- Understand the challenges in case managing employee relations matters including grievances, breaches of discipline and performance management.
- Display creativity and is comfortable with thinking outside the box
- Use empathy to see difficult issues from different perspectives.
- Exemplify personal integrity and self-awareness.
- Demonstrate initiative and a values driven approach.
- Be positive, flexible and adaptable to meet the changing needs of the business.
- Engage and influence a range of internal and external stakeholders including managers, employees, unions and other government bodies.
Successful applicants will be required to hold or obtain a current National Police Clearance prior to commencement.
