This is a Clinical Nurse position with the Pre-Anaesthetic Assessment Service (PAAS) at Royal Perth Hospital.
This is a Permanent Part Time appointment for 68.4 hours per fortnight.

Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout the health service. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised vacancy, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process. Both of these options remain valid for a period of six (6) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.
Position Profile: The Pre-Anaesthetic Assessment Service (PAAS) at Royal Perth Hospital is a multidisciplinary service which provides detailed pre-operative health assessments for patients in preparation for their surgery. The Clinical Nurse works with the multidisciplinary team to identify those patients that present as a high peri-operative risk and will initiate investigations and referrals to other members of the team. The Clinical Nurse also coordinates the care provided by the PAAS registered nurses as well as provide patients with information regarding their surgery and any queries in relation to their admission.
