Job Description
We are currently seeking to recruit a Legal Officer within the Superannuation Services Division who will be responsible for providing advice on a wide range of legal matters; including but not limited to superannuation, financial services legislation, products and marketing and other related matters. The position provides appropriate advice, conducts research and conceptualises the implications for the organisation in relation to new products, interpretation and application of relevant legislation, insurance, complaint resolutions, marketing, promotions and related legal areas.
Selection Criteria
Legal qualifications and admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of WA and eligible to hold a practicing certificate in WA.
Requires demonstrated capability in working within an in-house legal, risk and compliance team with experience in the financial services or superannuation industry. High degree of legislative interpretive ability and knowledge, with demonstrated ability in the application of legal concepts and demonstrated experience in policy analysis and interpretation within a government policy and legal framework.
