We are seeking a Senior Ministerial Officer to join the Department of Planning, Lands and Heritage in our Ministerial Services team within the Office of the Director General. If you have skills and experience in the coordination of ministerial correspondence we encourage you to apply.
In this role you would be responsible for the coordination of the day to day operations of the Ministerial Services team, including liaison between Ministerial offices and the agency to ensure effective and good quality service delivery for Ministerial business, and coordination of the preparation and transmission of Ministerial correspondence and other requests from Ministerial offices.
This vacancy is a full time permanent position. Consideration may be given to applicants seeking part-time or job share opportunities. Suitable applicants may be considered for appointment to similar (permanent, fixed term, full-time or part-time) vacancies for a period of twelve (12) months from the initial date of the appointment.
The Ministerial Services team is responsible for the processing, coordination and review of Ministerial correspondence, briefings and other Ministerial and Parliamentary requests.

To be successful in this role, you need to demonstrate:
- The ability to coordinate and manage ministerial responses, briefings and speech notes
- Strong internal and external stakeholder management between government agencies and Ministerial offices
- Leadership and supervision to ministerial service officers.
