This is a Recruitment Pool for Fixed Term Full Time appointments for 6-12 months with the possibility of extension(s).

Position Profile: The Registrar Service and Trainee positions in Paediatrics will be part of a busy team working with the support of 7 general paediatricians who are enthusiastic teachers and mentors. FSH has a 24 bed paediatric ward and a 22 bed Level 5 NICU with 3,000 births per year and a gestational age from 30 weeks upwards. Fiona Stanley Hospital has one of the busiest Emergency Department in the country with a separate paediatric emergency department with attached 4 bed observation ward that sees 26,000 children/year. In addition there is a mother baby unit (8 beds) and a youth mental health inpatient service (16-25 yrs 12 bed). FSH has a busy ambulatory service with general paediatrics, developmental paediatrics, adolescent health, neonatology, paediatric subspecialties neurology, nephrology, gastroenterology, respiratory, surgery and immunology in paediatric adapted clinic space.
Area Profile: Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH) is a 783-bed tertiary hospital offering a range of health services including the State Rehabilitation Service, a comprehensive cancer centre, purpose-built mental health unit, maternity, paediatric and neonatal services, and the State Adult Burns Service. FSH also delivers specialised services such as heart and lung transplantations and hyperbaric medicine.
