Rossmoyne Primary School (PS) is seeking a dedicated and experienced Primary – Health and Physical Education teacher to join our professional team.
The successful applicant will co-ordinate and develop an innovative Physical Education and Health program across Pre Primary to Year 6. The successful applicant will ideally have a strong and successful background in organising school and sporting cluster events and strong communication and interpersonal skills in order to liaise with other specialists. The ability to engage with outside agencies in supporting and developing the school’s physical education program to further expand the opportunities that our students are able to experience is highly desirable.
We are seeking someone who is energetic and has a passion for teaching. They will possess excellent interpersonal skills and be willing to promote the school in the broader community.
Rossmoyne PS is highly successful and school of choice. It has collaborative staff with a supportive school community. It has high expectations of students and caters for the whole child. We are committed to preparing our students to be responsible digital citizens and teaching them to use technology and the digital world in safe, positive and productive ways. Currently, our Pre-primary to Year 3 students all have access to iPads and our Year 4 to 6 students participate in a one to one iPad program. All classes are equipped with interactive whiteboards.
This selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy. Applicants assessed as suitable during this selection process may be considered for other similar vacancies that occur throughout our school for up to 12 months following this initial appointment. This includes circumstances where this position becomes subsequently vacant should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised position.

- Professional practice; and
- Professional engagement.

ELIGIBILITY
Employees will be required to:

TRAINING
Employees will be required to:
- complete the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement; and
- complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy.
The Department applies a four (4) day breach period to this selection process.
