This is a permanent part-time (0.7FTE) position commencing Term 1, 2019
Manning Primary School (PS) are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher with knowledge of the Physical Education and Health Curriculum.
The successful applicant will help develop and lead an innovative Physical Education and Health program across Kindergarten to Year 6. The successful applicant will ideally have a strong and successful background in organising inter-school sporting events and strong communication and interpersonal skills in order to liaise with other specialists.
Manning PS located in a residential area in the City of South Perth, an inner metropolitan school attracting students from a wide range of socio-economic backgrounds. As a teacher at Manning PS you will be committed, professional and a collaborative participant in our progressive and culturally diverse education community.
This selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy. Applicants assessed as suitable during this selection process may be considered for other similar vacancies that occur throughout our school for up to 12 months following this initial appointment. This includes circumstances where this position becomes subsequently vacant should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised position.
To be suitable for this role, you will need to demonstrate your competency against the following domains (that govern the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers):

- Professional practice; and
- Professional engagement.

ELIGIBILITY
Employees will be required to:

TRAINING
Employees will be required to:
- complete the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement; and
- complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy.
The Department applies a four (4) day breach period to this selection process.
