POOL RECRUITMENT
The pool recruitment will operate for eighteen (18) months from the date of the initial selection of the pool.
Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made as they arise.

As a Cleaner you will be cleaning homes for people with disabilities operated by the Department of Communities, Disability Services.

Experience

- Experience in undertaking general domestic cleaning duties.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Essential
- Ability to follow instructions and work with minimum supervision.
- Ability to work within given timeframes.
- Ability to interpret material safety data sheet for chemicals used in cleaning.
Eligibility
Prospective Domestic must:
- have Australian residency or citizenship.
- have documentary evidence of English at the Australian Year 10 level or qualification deemed equivalent.
- be able to successfully undergo our Criminal History Screening process and pass a satisfactory medical and functional capacity examination based on the physical and psychological demands of the role.
- have the ability to travel to and from various accommodation facilities operated by Disability Services within Perth Metropolitan area, in response to organisational needs.
- be able available to attend compulsory induction and/or training sessions as instructed, as per the job role.
Visa Requirement
Prior to appointment you will need to substantiate your entitlement to live and work in Australia for the duration of the vacancy.
