We’re looking for
Experienced Senior Contracts Officers to join our Procurement and Fleet Management team
In this role you will provide specialist procurement advice and undertake contract and tendering activities, ensuring compliance is met throughout the process.
Our team is committed to delivering excellent service, so you will have a passion for assisting customers who have complex procurement and fleet management enquiries. Most importantly, you will have well-developed interpersonal skills, a keen eye for detail and be competent in the use of computer and procurement software.
Located in our East Perth office, this is an outstanding opportunity for a self-motivated contracts specialist to join our high performing team.
This is a pool recruitment process and therefore you may join us on a full-time, part-time, fixed term or permanent basis. We have one permanent full-time opportunity to fill immediately.
We need someone who can
- Demonstrate experience working within a complex contracts, tender and buying environment
- Evaluate contracts using risk management techniques and strategies
- Deliver with a high level of accuracy
- Cultivate strong, productive working relationships and partnerships
- Solve complex problems related to contract development and management issues
- Communicate clearly and confidently with a diverse range of stakeholders
- Thrive in a fast paced environment and carry out a variety of duties through being flexible and adaptable to suit customer needs

What is a recruitment pool?
We use recruitment pools to build a bank of talent who we feel might be suited to future opportunities within the Department of Transport. When part of a pool you may be offered a permanent or temporary position, however an appointment is not guaranteed.
This pool will be open for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of first appointment. Permanent and fixed-term full-time appointments may be offered as vacancies arise. Currently there is one (1) permanent full-time position available for immediate filling.

- A detailed CV that clearly outlines the skills and experience you have gained in relation to the job description; and
- A written statement (maximum two (2) pages) addressing only the following selection criteria (SC):
- (SC1) Considerable experience working within a complex contracts and procurement environment.
- (SC2) Experience in the application of supply policies and practices with knowledge of the public sector supply environment.
- (SC3) Experience in contract performance review and evaluation of risk management strategies.
