About the role:
The purpose of this position is to manage the Broome Aquaculture Centre. Within this role you will be required to manage the technical aspects of aquaculture production, team and facility to support training delivery and commercial operations including funded projects.
As the Manager of Hatchery you will need to be able to:
- Lead small teams and coordinate activities across a broad range of projects
- Manage a diverse and specialised aquaculture facility
- Undertake and complete administrative tasks such as procurement, licensing, reporting, data management etc to a high standard
- Successfully work across a range of species including finfish, crustaceans and molluscs
- Work with lecturing staff and students to ensure a high standard of learning experience
