We currently have two exciting opportunities for the position of Local Coordinator to fill a full time (Geraldton) and a part-time (45 hours per fortnight, Carnarvon), 12 month vacancy with the possibility of extension in our Midwest offices.
We may also have vacancies arising over the coming six months and applicants deemed suitable, can be considered for future similar fixed term employment opportunities across the Midwest region.
The Local Coordinator position:
You will be person centered and able to readily apply analytical thinking skills to creatively solve problems. You will be able to clearly articulate and apply policy in your work. You will have the ability to work to deadlines within a context of shifting priorities, and the capacity to work both autonomously and as an integral member of the local team.
As a Local Coordinator you will be responsible for supporting individuals with disability to live fulfilling, healthy and inclusive lives in their local community. You will support people to create individual plans focused on the development of skills, promoting independence and self-determination. You will play a key role in linking people with services and supporting them to build networks and connections in their local community.

Special requirements
Appointment is subject to the following:
- A satisfactory National Police Clearance
