This vacancy is for 12 months with the possibility of extension.
Role
This position provides case management to young people on Court and early release Orders throughout the South-West region. The Senior Youth Justice Officer also attends Court and writes reports for the Children’s Court and Supervised Release Review Board. This position may also be required to facilitate Juvenile Justice Teams and Court Conferencing referrals.
Job related requirements
Applicants must have a current Working with Children Check or be able to successfully apply for one to be eligible for appointment to this position.
Applicants must have a valid C class licence and be prepared to conduct regular travel throughout the region, including overnight stays where necessary.
