Pickering Brook Primary School (IPS) is seeking an inspiring Visual Arts Specialist teacher to join a team of expert staff who set high standards of teaching and learning across the Western Australian Curriculum Assessment and Outline.
Pickering Brook Primary School is a small and vibrant Level 4 primary school set in the beautiful Darling Ranges.
We are seeking an applicant who has outstanding knowledge and experience in teaching and assessment of the Western Australian Curriculum Assessment and Outline. The successful applicant will have a love of art and the teaching capacity to inspire, facilitate and promote student creativity in an exciting learning environment. The successful applicant will ideally possess a strong expertise in digital technology, such as the use of iPads and laptops, as effective tools to facilitate student learning and creativity.

This selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy. Applicants assessed as suitable during this selection process may be considered for permanent appointments to other similar vacancies that occur throughout our school for up to 12 months following this initial appointment. This includes circumstances where this position becomes subsequently vacant should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised position.

- Professional engagement.

ELIGIBILITY
Employees will be required to:

TRAINING
Employees will be required to:
- complete the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement; and
- complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy.
The Department applies a four (4) day breach period to this selection process.
