We are seeking a talented Policy Officer to join this remarkable journey of growth and success. The substantive occupant is currently elsewhere so we are looking to offer the successful applicant a fixed term contract of up to twelve months until the substantive occupant returns. This role is responsible for undertaking activities to facilitate the development of policy responses to internal and external issues and recommend strategies.
As our Policy Advisor, your typical day would include but not limited to the following activities;
- Preparing high quality written advice in the form of reports, briefs, speaking points, presentations, policy and discussion papers to inform, respond to requests, or initiate consideration of new initiatives in relation to policy and legislative reform.
- Liaising, communicating and consulting with key stakeholders to secure their engagement and ensure an effective interface on policy and legislation, planning and implementation.
- Managing and monitoring the register of changes to Landgate's polices and preparing and implementing policy changes.
- Undertaking research, evaluation and advice on policy, legislation and emerging issues relevant to Landgate
- Undertaking activities to facilitate the development of policy responses to internal and external issues and recommending strategies

- Exceptional written communication skills including the ability to prepare reports and present information of varying complexity to a wide range of audiences
- Demonstrated ability to formulate, review and implement policy and legislation
- Proven ability to develop strong networks with key stakeholders including stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to research, analyse and evaluate information to develop practical solutions and make informed decisions.
