This is a fixed term 3 year part time position at 0.6FTE with the possibility of extension.
Appointments may be made from this process within a 12 month period to similar contract positions.
The Forest Products Commission (FPC) is a Statutory Authority and is responsible for managing commercial operations in Western Australia’s native forest and plantation estate. The FPC supplies forest products to local processing industries and export markets. The FPC also provides advice to, and develops policy for, government on issues relating to forest management, products and services.

Job Description
The Project Officer - Ministerial and Document Controller assists with the processing of Ministerial correspondence, supports the organisation’s audit requirements for controlled documents, the roll out of business systems and assists senior managers to meet project outcomes.
To be successful in this role you will have:
Essential:
- Demonstrated experience providing effective project support and input into business systems and processes.
- Sound verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A working knowledge of document control compliance as related to environmental standards.
- Sound conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to use relevant software.
- Demonstrated strong organisational ability to prioritise tasks, manage workloads and meet deadlines.
- C class drivers licence.
