Central Regional TAFE is responsible for delivering customer focused, industry aligned training and pathways to higher education to build a skilled, productive and employment ready workforce. We deliver 240 courses to 10,000 students each year in the Mid West region - Geraldton, Batavia Coast Maritime Institute and Technology Park, the Gascoyne region - Carnarvon and Exmouth, the Goldfields region – Kalgoorlie and the Wheatbelt region - Northam, Merredin and Moora.

About the role
The Coordinator Student Services is responsible for the promotion of Central Regional TAFE initiatives and services for students from equity target groups throughout the region.
To be successful in this role you will ideally have experience in understanding of issues affecting education and training for a diverse range of clients including but not restricted to young people, Aboriginal people and people identified as having a disability. Excellent communication skills are also important as you will be delivering workshops and small group sessions on career development as part of your role.

Eligibility for employment is subject to obtaining a satisfactory Department of Education Criminal Clearance. If this position involves contact with children, the recommended occupant will also be required to obtain a Working with Children (WWC) Card.
To be eligible for appointment applicants must have a working visa (for fixed term contract appointments) or permanent residency (for permanent appointments).
This selection process may be used to identify suitable applicants for similar vacancies that arise within the next 12 months.
