We are seeking applications from experienced and skilled people for a 0.4FTE job-share (Thursday & Friday) initially for 12 months with the possibility of an extension.
DFES seeks dynamic, organised and results focused individuals who can maximise DFES’ use of digital communications in order to better engage with all Western Australians, including those within the fire and emergency services community.
THE ROLE
You will coordinate digital communications campaigns, strategies and activities within the Media and Corporate Communications team; works in collaboration with DFES’ stakeholders and business units to design, develop and implement digital communications and social media programs.

The successful applicant will be required to participate in a 24/7 rotational On-Call roster and additional, periodic weekend work will be required.
The position is primarily based at DFES Emergency Services Complex, Cockburn Central. Travel to other metropolitan and regional offices will also be required.
ELIGIBILITY TO APPLY
You must be an Australian Citizen or hold permanent residency or hold a working visa covering the term of the contract (proof must be provided with your application) to be eligible for this position.
NATIONAL POLICE CLEARANCE
A condition of employment for new employees of DFES is that a current National Police Certificate (less than 3 months old) is provided prior to commencement.
