About the Role
The Metropolitan and Southern Regions Directorate delivers road asset management, network operation and minor construction and maintenance practices throughout our State.
As part of this directorate, the South West office boasts a professional and friendly working environment that is devoted to the South West Region and supporting our community.
The region is currently looking for an experienced asset manager in particular with a maintenance background who will develop, monitor and review plans and programs such as the Ten Year Network Plan, Annual Works Program, Region Network Plan and Asset Link Plans in order to effectively manage, preserve and improve the region’s assets. Analysis of condition data and a risk based approach to treatment selection in order to match the budget to whole of life based asset management is essential. You will effectively consult and liaise with a range of stakeholders on road asset management plans, program and intervention standards, providing expert advice as required.
About You
As the successful candidate you will be required to demonstrate your relevant experience in road maintenance management & construction - your knowledge in road and/or bridge planning, design, project management systems, principles and practices as well as road safety programs will be advantageous. Your strong research, analysis and problem solving skills will assist you in identifying and developing solutions and priorities to optimise the performance of the road network and your ability to develop and maintain strong collaborative working relationships will contribute to your success in this role.
