Falls Road Primary (IPS) is seeking to establish a pool of dedicated and enthusiastic Middle and Upper Primary Teachers for appointments to permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies in Middle and Upper Primary which may arise during the 2018 school year. Placements can be made from the pool at any time for commencement within the 2018 school year.
Falls Road Primary (IPS) is situated in the Darling Range hills behind Perth only 30 minutes from the city. It is nestled in a bush setting that provides a lovely, natural playground for the students. The school grounds have been developed to maintain much of the natural bushland and this has been complimented by the establishment of a large bush Nature Play Area. The school also provides purpose built play areas such as basketball and netball courts; cricket, soccer and football ovals and climbing equipment for students.
Falls Road Primary (IPS) is in its seventh year as an Independent Public School. We have an excellent partnership with our parents and community who support the school with a wide range of activities. We have a blend of youthful and experienced staff who are committed and dedicated to assisting students to achieve their best across a broad curriculum.
Our school has a comprehensive positive reinforcement process which has been complemented by the introduction of the Bounce Back Program which focuses on developing student resiliency. ELIGIBILITY
Employees will be required to:
- provide evidence of eligibility to work in Australia for the term of the vacancy
- obtain a current Department of Education Criminal Record Clearance prior to commencement of employment; and
- obtain or hold a current Working with Children Check.

TRAINING
Employees will be required to:
- complete the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement; and
- complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy.
The Department applies a four (4) day breach period to this selection process.
