Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout the health service. Both of these options remain valid for a period of six (6) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.
Position Profile: We are seeking to appoint a suitably experienced and enthusiastic person to the position of Senior Policy Officer. In this role you will oversee the development of policy frameworks to improve accountability for delivery of safe and high quality care, including evaluation of patient safety strategies, systems and standards across the WA health system. You will establish and maintain systems to monitor and review aggregate data from various health data sources, undertake trend analysis on data and provide appropriate reports to stakeholders towards policy development and evaluation of patient safety strategies, including clinical incident monitoring and clinical risk identification and management.
