Subject to confirmation of eligibility, the current district allowance payable for Karratha is single rate $9,449 p.a and a dependent rate $18,898 p.a.

Sport and Recreation is the lead agency responsible for the implementation of government policy and initiatives in sport and recreation in Western Australia. We are seeking a suitably qualified person to fill the position of Regional Manager Pilbara based in our Karratha office. As this position is regional based, the successful applicant is required to reside within 50kms of the Karratha Post Office. Subject to eligibility, there is currently a GROH house available for the successful applicant at a subsidised rent.
While managing the Pilbara regional office, in this role you will develop regional strategic partnerships with other Government departments, local government and community groups to lead the development of optimum community sport, recreation and facilities planning and service delivery in the Pilbara region.
