Subject to confirmation of eligibility, the current district allowance payable for Geraldton is single rate $1,239 pa and dependent rate $2,478 pa. This is reviewed annually and is subject to change.

The Department of Sport and Recreation is the lead agency responsible for the implementation of government policy and initiatives in sport and recreation in Western Australia. A key role of the department is to contribute to the healthy lifestyle of Western Australians by increasing physical activity in the community through sport and recreation.
We are seeking a suitably qualified person to fill the part-time (0.8 FTE) position of Regional Administration Officer based in our Geraldton office. This role is 30 hours per week worked across Monday to Friday. Generally hours worked will be 8.30am to 3.00pm or as negotiated with the Manager Mid West.
In this role you will respond to public enquiries regarding the Department’s planning and service delivery in the Mid West and Gascoyne region. You will provide administrative support and assist with the day-to-day operations of the Midwest Office.
