Kings Park and Botanic Garden is Perth’s premier park incorporating the Western Australian Botanic Garden, expansive treed parklands and around 270 hectares of remnant bushland. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified Turf Horticulturist based in Kings Park. This position will join a small, passionate, and committed team responsible for all aspects of Turf care and management within Kings Park. This position will have great exposure to the broader applications of turf management and allow the successful individual to expand upon their knowledge and experience within a rewarding working environment.

Selection Criteria
1. Demonstrated proven experience in the safe operation and maintenance of turf equipment, as well as herbicide and pesticide application.
2. Demonstrated excellent knowledge and experience in the practical application of current turf management principles and practices.
3. Good computer and record keeping skills.
4. Good communication, interpersonal and organisational skills, including the ability to coordinate activities and enhance team effectiveness.
5. Certificate Three in Horticulture (Turf) or higher or approved equivalent.
