An exciting opportunity exists for one permanent full time position (1.0 FTE) in Esperance.
You will be person centred and able to readily apply analytical thinking skills to creatively solve problems. You will be able to clearly articulate and apply policy in your work. You will have the ability to work to deadlines within a context of shifting priorities, and the capacity to work both autonomously and as an integral member of the local team.

About the Role
As a Local Coordinator you will be responsible for supporting individuals with disability to live fulfilling, healthy and inclusive lives in their local community. You will support people to create individual plans focused on the development of skills, promoting independence and self-determination. You will play a key role in linking people with services and supporting them to build networks and connections in their local community.

- Relevant experience in human services or a related discipline.
- Well developed communication, negotiation and advocacy skills.

- Demonstrated ability to develop plans and achieve positive outcomes for individuals within the context of organisational policy, procedures and resources.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a variety of tasks, set goals and achieve effective and timely outcomes.

Special requirements
- Appointment is subject to a satisfactory National Police Clearance
- Appointment is subject to a medical and functional capacity evaluation.
- A current Australian driver's licence and the ability to travel in response to organisational needs.
