We’re looking for
An experienced and strategic Human Resource leader
As Director Workforce Management you will be responsible for leading and managing Industrial Relations, Employee Relations, Recruitment and Selection, Occupational Health, Safety and Wellbeing activities for the Department. You will provide customer centric, strategic and tactical advice on complex HR matters to DoT Executive and Management, and will play a key role in enabling an agile and dynamic workforce that is capable of adapting to changing times through innovative thinking.
We need someone who can
- Lead, inspire and motivate a multi-disciplinary team to deliver customer centric HR services and solutions
- Manage and lead the delivery of best practice HR advice and services including Employee and Industrial Relations
- Demonstrate a detailed knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation and regulatory frameworks
- Analyse complex HR matters, assess risks and progress issues through to a satisfactory resolution
- Confidently communicate and influence at a senior level with a range of stakeholders
- Cultivate strong, productive working relationships and partnerships
- Demonstrate alignment to the DoT values of Fresh Thinking, Clear Direction, Excellent Service and Great People
Successful applicants will be required to hold or obtain a current National Police Clearance prior to commencement.
