We are seeking to establish a pool of suitably qualified applicants for the role of Senior Finance Officer within the Pilbara Development Commission.
The pool will be valid for a period of twelve (12) months following finalisation of the process and may be used to fill permanent and fixed term opportunities that may arise in this period. Please note that being appointed to the pool does not guarantee you placement in a position.
Position Description
We currently have one (1) part time (0.5 FTE / 37.5 hours per fortnight, with flexible working hours) fixed term appointment available until 28 June 2019, with the possibility of an extension and/or permanency subject to funding approval.
To be successful in this position you are required to:
- Partner up with key stakeholders and provides high level financial advice, analysis and decision support to shape and facilitate the achievement of strategic outcomes.
- Provide high level coordination of the Commission’s financial transaction services function.
- Provide professional procurement advice to staff including in the development of business cases and procurement plans, tender documents, evaluation reports and contract management plans.
