LOCATION
The Shire of Broome is located in the south-west Kimberley in the far north of Western Australia and covers approximately 56,000 square kilometres, boasting a coastline of 900 kilometres which includes the world famous Cable Beach.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Residential Care Worker is responsible for working as a member of a team to achieve best outcomes for children and young people.
You will provide group and individual therapeutic residential care to children and young people and also assist in planning, developing and implementing activities for children and young people.
WHAT WE ARE OFFERING
This is a Pool for casual work. Employees are on an irregular basis with no set hours and no expectation of ongoing work. A casual loading of 20% is applied to the standard hourly rate in lieu of leave entitlements.
If you are suitable for this position you will be placed in a Pool from which appointments will be made for similar vacancies that arise within the next 12 months. If the appointment Pool is exhausted prior to the Pool expiry date, the Department reserves the right to supplement the Pool through further advertising.
