Tourism in Western Australia is an exciting, innovative industry currently generating $9 billion for the State in visitor expenditure, with a target of $12 billion by 2020. Tourism WA works in cooperation with the tourism industry to attract visitors by marketing the State as a competitive destination; developing, attracting and marketing major events; and supporting significant tourism infrastructure development across the State.
ABOUT THE ROLE
In this position you will develop and implement corporate communications strategies for events and initiatives and provide advice to senior management, to enhance the profile of Tourism WA and the tourism industry.
This role is for a period of 12 months at 0.4 FTE with possible extension.
