Central Regional TAFE is responsible for delivering customer focused, industry aligned training and pathways to higher education to build a skilled, productive and employment ready workforce. We deliver 240 courses to 10,000 students each year in the Mid West region - Geraldton, Batavia Coast Maritime Institute and Technology Park, the Gascoyne region - Carnarvon and Exmouth, the Goldfields region – Kalgoorlie and the Wheatbelt region - Northam, Merredin and Moora.

About the role
The Administration Officer undertakes clerical duties as required and serves as first point of contact for all internal and external clients. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to.
- Undertakes word processing/typing and data entry as directed
- Operates computerised systems including word processing, typing, spreadsheets and data base
- Enters data related to enrolments and assessments
- Operates photocopier and other administrative equipment
- Attends to the Reception/Switchboard area
- Answers public and internal inquiries
- Refers clients to areas within the College
- Communicates effectively with staff, students and members of the public.
To be successful in this role you will ideally have experience working in an office environment with a focus on customer service. This role involves administrative duties which requires skills in word processing and data software packages. The successful candidate will need to be able to work independently.

Other Conditions and Eligibility
Eligibility for employment is subject to obtaining a satisfactory Department of Education Criminal Clearance. If this position involves contact with children, the recommended occupant will also be required to obtain a Working with Children (WWC) Card.
