Position Profile: We are seeking an enthusiastic physics graduate to join a team of seven Medical Physicists in the Health Technology Management Unit (HTMU) based at Royal Perth Hospital.
The HTMU serves several hospitals within the East and South Metropolitan Health Services including Royal Perth and Fiona Stanley Hospitals. It provides both imaging support and radiation protection services, including quality assurance testing of a large number of medical imaging devices. The successful applicant will be expected to work across hospital sites within these health service areas. Consequently the ability to work flexibly and have good interpersonal and team orientated skills are important.
The successful applicant will be expected to enrol in (or already be enrolled in) the Australasian College of Physical Scientists and Engineers in Medicine Training, Education and Accreditation Program in Diagnostic Imaging Medical Physics. This program leads to industry recognised certification in either Radiology Medical Physics or Nuclear Medicine Physics.
