“The role we do has many difficulties, frustrations and sorrow, but there are also many joys and wonderful moments that you share with the children, carers, families and others who work in this field… When you see a child who came into care neglected, and several years later they are healthy, loving school and life, and talking about their future in a positive hopeful way - then that is the reward you get. In a small way you have been a part of assisting this child to have an opportunity that they may not have otherwise had.” – Team Leader Child Protection
