Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout the health service. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised vacancy, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process. Both of these options remain valid for a period of six (6) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.
Parental Leave: This is a Fixed Term opportunity while the substantive occupant is on a period of Parental Leave.
Position Profile: We are seeking to appoint a suitably experienced and enthusiastic person to the position of Application Specialist with patient management systems experience. In this role you will play a key role in supporting, planning, testing and implementing patient administration information systems and initiatives relevant to the public health system as directed. The position also liaises extensively with hospital sites and vendors to ensure timely and effective delivery of business software changes.
Area Profile: Health Support Services (HSS) provides value for money corporate support services to WA Health through skilled and motivated people.
