This is a senior position within the Business Solutions and Governance branch of the Knowledge, Information and Technology directorate. The Principal Data Management Officer will help transform the quality of Information Services provided across the Department by facilitating information and technology solutions that are aligned with strategic direction set by the Office of Reform.
Role
This is a Data Quality manager role with the key focus to manage a small team and lead the establishment of a data quality procedures and practices. This role will also lead the implementation of Data governance and Data classification within the department.
Tenure
Permanent appointment.
Job related requirements
Significant experience in the use of Data Quality tools, techniques and practices.
Knowledge of current and emerging trends and practices in relation to data governance and data management.
Experience in developing data models in large complex organisations.
