We’re looking for
A Manager to lead our Support Services branch
As the Support Services Manager you will manage the operational performance of the Support Services branch by leading the delivery of essential services, including the development and implementation of business improvement strategies. You will be a key contributor to the Department‘s strategic plans and directions, translating these into clearly articulated business plans.
We need someone who can
- Provide oversight and manage operational performance
- Lead and Manage delivery of essential services
- Develop and implement strategic business plans and risk management strategies
- Liaise with a range of internal and external stakeholders
- Represent Driver and Vehicle Services in consultations and negotiations

- A detailed CV that clearly outlines the skills and experience you have gained in relation to the job description; and
- A written statement (maximum four (4) pages) addressing the following selection criteria (SC):
- Substantial experience in the delivery of key customer support services in a high volume and pressured environment for a large and complex organisation
- Experience and knowledge in applying and interpreting Acts, legislation, regulations, policies and procedures to enable delegations that are exercised to withstand scrutiny
- Well-developed negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Well-developed conceptual, analytical, and problem solving skills in order to offer innovative solutions to complex problems
