We are seeking a motivated and talented individual to join the International Trade and Investment Division. As a key member of the International Markets Branch, you will be coordinating the writing and publication of promotional materials, including flyers, corporate publications and information kits in consultation with the Department’s communication staff and coordinating diverse digital communications projects and marketing channels. In this role, you will contribute to country, region and industry marketing and engagement strategies, and planning discussions to promote the State and the State’s industries. You will be required to analyse local and international policy development, news and events in relation to international trade and investment to identify opportunities and threats.
To be successful in this position you will have proven experience in communications and/or marketing, including the preparation of publications and highly developed writing, communication and presentation skills. Knowledge of the key industries that form the Western Australian economy, and government functions relevant to those sectors is also essential. Establishing and maintaining collaborative relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders, and the ability to prepare written reports and other documents, and contribute to meetings and presentations for a wide variety of audiences is required.
