If you have a proven track record in accrual based accounting procedures that includes a comprehensive knowledge of spreadsheets and accounting software, coupled with a relevant degree (or progress towards a degree) and knowledge of applicable legislation, policies and procedures, then we would love to hear from you!
What you will be doing
A typical day in this position involves the analysis of receipts and payments to reflect the bank statement in the general ledger and the uploading of batches producing EFT payments through the integrated finance systems. It also involves the investigation and correction of errors detected in processing, performing bank reconciliations and providing updates of cash flow to reflect the agency’s cash movements.
