Applicants should note that the Princess Margaret Hospital for Children will cease operation in 2016, to be replaced by the Perth Children’s Hospital located in Nedlands. This transition may result in fixed term positions no longer being required; however, fixed term contracts of employment with a cessation date beyond the expected date of closure of PMH, will continue to be employed with WA Health for the period of your contract of employment.
Position Profile: We are seeking suitably qualified and motivated Pharmacists to join our team. The PCH will have 298 beds, 48 more than PMH and the design of the building allows for future expansion.
All specialist services currently provided by PMH will be available at the new PCH, with many clinical areas expanded including an increase in neonatal and oncology capacity, an expanded Surgical Day Stay Unit and the introduction of a High Dependency Unit alongside the Intensive Care Unit.
