This is a Fixed Term Full Time appointment for 6 months, with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.

Other Conditions: Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout the Mental Health Commission. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised vacancy, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process. Both of these options remain valid for a period of six (6) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.
Position Profile: We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic individual to the position of Project Officer. The Project Officer will undertake planning and projects to help facilitate the operational and strategic directions of the Workforce Development Branch and manage the administrative function.
Area Profile: The Mental Health Commission was established in 2010. To strengthen and better integrate the State's network of services relating to the prevention, treatment, professional education and training and research activities in the drug and alcohol and mental health sectors, the Drug and Alcohol Office amalgamated with the Mental Health Commission in July 2015. The new Commission enables the utilisation of both entities strengths and capabilities to enhance and excel in the delivery of mental health and drug and alcohol services across the state.
