We’re looking for
A Principal Transport Planner to manage our Perth Central Area team. You will identify and develop integrated transport solutions to reduce traffic congestion, improve public transport services, cyclist and pedestrian safety, in the CBD and inner city areas.
You will also manage the Perth Parking Policy and the implementation of balanced transport initiatives such as the bus services, bike and bus lanes and end of trip facilities by third parties.
We need someone who can
- Effectively manage the delivery of a large program of initiatives.
- Communicate and influence at a senior level with a range of stakeholders, including industry.
- Cultivate strong, productive relationships and partnerships.
- Provide innovative solutions to complex problems and issues.
- Achieve results through the development and enhancement of strategies related to parking and transport access in central Perth.
- Actively engage with team members to motivate, develop and utilise the diverse talents of people.
Please note the position requires you to have tertiary qualifications relevant to urban and regional planning and/or development; and to either hold or have the ability to obtain a national police clearance.

- (SC2) Demonstrated strategic management and leadership skills.
- (SC6) Highly-developed conceptual, analytical, research and investigative skills, with the ability to provide innovative solutions and remedies when resolving problems and issues.
- (SC7) Substantial experience in managing complex projects including planning, monitoring and evaluation.
