This is Permanent Part Time appointment at 38 hours per fortnight.

Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout the health service. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised vacancy, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process. Both of these options remain valid for a period of six (6) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.
Position Profile: We are seeking to appoint a suitably experienced and enthusiastic person to the position of Occupational Health and Safety Consultant. In this role you will provide a comprehensive consultancy service to all areas of PathWest Laboratory Medicine WA, whilst developing and implementing systems to ensure organisational compliance to OSH management standards. You will also assist with injury prevention and injury management strategies.
Area Profile: PathWest Laboratory Medicine WA provides diagnostic services across the full range of pathology disciplines. Our mandate to the health needs of the Western Australian community is far reaching, serving both metropolitan and regional WA; a massive undertaking to more than 2.3 million West Australians, across more than 2.5 million km² of land area. This is achieved through a network of 64 metropolitan and branch laboratories and collection centres from Kununurra in the north through to Esperance in the south.
